How can I get in contact with you,
especially in an emergency?
I have an answering machine that is
always on so that you can leave me a message at any time. I make
every effort to return calls the same day. In a life-threatening
emergency, I am available via pager 24/7. My pager number is given
towards the end of my greeting on the office number. If I am away, I
have a psychologist covering for me who will deal with emergencies
as needed.

4.
What kind of insurance do you accept
and for what services?
Insurance is accepted for individual
psychotherapy. I participate in the Empire Plan for NYS Employees, CIGNA, United Behavioral Health, Select-Pro, Multi-Plan,
ValueOptions, and Medicare.
Marital/couples counseling is
strictly fee for service. Insurance is not accepted for
marital/couples counseling as it is not a covered service under any
health insurance plan. I will not falsely claim I am treating one
person for a psychiatric disorder when I am really providing
couples/marital counseling.
